Analysing the Role of Integrated Development Planning in Mitigating the Effects of Covid-19 in eThekwini Municipality: The case study of the Durban Central Business District – Warwick Junction
Njabulo Ntuthuko Mchunu is a Master of Town and Regional Planning candidate. His research aims to examine municipal interventions in mitigating the socio-economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic within the congested urban area of Warwick Junction, which serves approximately 500,000 people daily with taxis, buses, and trains. Mchunu research looks into how the pandemic exacerbated existing socio-economic challenges and what interventions were made to mitigate these effects.
