Phiwokuhle Shembe is a Master’s student in Town and Regional Planning at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). A two-time UKZN graduate, she holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Geography and Environmental Management and an Honours degree in Town and Regional Planning. Her academic and professional interests lie in spatial development and land use planning, environmental sustainability, and the dynamics of informal settlements. She brings a strong technical skill set, including proficiency in GIS, ARCHICAD, TERRSET, as well as expertise in fieldwork, data analysis, report writing, and presentation.
