Yekeen A. Sanusi

Yekeen A. Sanusi is a professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria. He has many years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research interests cover human settlement analysis, issues of green economy (climate change, water and sanitation, energy policy and governance and urban poverty), urban dynamics, urban governance and environmental management including solid waste and urban housing quality. He has successfully supervised many postgraduate theses, including PhD theses, and has served as external examiner for PhD theses both within and outside Nigeria. Prof Sanusi has experience of teaching in other universities both within and outside Nigeria. He served as a Visiting Professor at Kaduna State University, Kafanchan and was   on sabbatical leave at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He was also a Visiting Professor at Pan African University Institute for Water and Energy Sciences (PAUWES). He is a former head of Department of Urban and Regional Planning and a former Dean of the School of Environmental Technology. Federal University of Technology, Minna. He is a Registered Town Planner (RTP), member of Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP), and a member of many international research networks.
